This 4th STOKERS Reunion will be held in Albany WA, in November 2014.

It will be held on the anniversary of the Gallipoli Fleet leaving Albany For the 1st World War.

As information comes in it will be promulgated on this page.

The Albany Sub Section of the Naval Association will be hosting the event so a group of old Dusties have got together to help the Albany people bring together a successful Reunion. The majority of these Dustmen have organised many successful events in the past, not just Ex-Service events, so the level of expertise is to our benefit.

16th Minesweeping Squadron Reunion. To be held at Twin Towns RSL, Coolangatta/Tweed Heads On 14th, 15th, 16th September 2012. On Sunday 16th a Memorial & Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at the Tweed Heads Cenotaph. Crew members from HMAS Curlew, Gull, Hawk, Snipe, Ibis & Teal will Lay a Wreath. HMAS VOYAGER “ALL CREWS” D31 & D04 REUNION FEBRUARY 2014 BOMADERRY 50th Anniversary

Bomaderry golden event will run over the weekend of the 13th - 16th February, 2014 This is the forward planned venue but may change as we progress. Order of our planned program is as follows.

Thursday 13th - Registration, River Cruises. Friday 14th - Meet & Greet RSL – River Cruises (2 hr up stream and/or 3.5 hr downstream) Saturday 15th - RSL Dinner (18:00) Saturday, morning and afternoon free choice. Sunday 16th - Entertainment and Farewell BBQ. Venue in planning progress.

A DVD (HMAS Voyager – A Final Tribute) is being prepared to run during the evening and display on the main screen to add to the celebration of the 2014 50th Anniversary to include old video. high resolution colour photos of HMAS Voyager and crew images. Contributions of material to include in the DVD are very welcome.

Sunday Farewell ($$ per person) – BBQ luncheon. The Saturday evening dinner event will also include a raffle with several great prizes:-

MMap: Accommodation: Location of Bomaderry RSL

This area will provide a list of accommodation in the Nowra region but it is hoped and being arranged for one local Motel to control and allocate all bookings with a discount for Voyagers attending the reunion. The primary control Motel will be supplied as soon as the agreements are organised. This should make it easier for those people planning to attend the reunion.
